Basic Rules:
Objective: 

Players try to win tricks and prevent their opponents from doing so. The player who reaches 120 points first wins the game. If both players are above 90 points, the first player who reaches 120 points as the bidding player wins the game.

Scoring:

Each trick counts for 5 points, with the exception of the highest card played being worth 10 points. If the bidder scores enough points to make their bid, they score all the points taken. If this player fails to make their bid, the amount of their bid is deducted from their score. The non-bidding player gains all the points they make.

Bidding:

The bidding starts with the player is not the dealer. Bids are made in multiples of 5 starting at 15 and up to 30. If purchased, a player may also bid "30 for 60", which awards 60 points if all tricks are taken, and deducts 60 points if any tricks are lost. The highest bidder names the trump suit.

Drawing:

Both players may discard up to 4 of their cards. The dealer then restores the players hands to 5 cards, starting with the non-dealing player. If purchased, a player may also go "Four and a Flip" which provides the player a choice in their single held card or an extra dealt card. The chosen card is shown to the opponent.

Playing:

The bidding player plays first. The hand is played out in 5 tricks. If a card of trump is lead and you have any trump cards, you must follow suit (An exception to this is "reneging", described below). If an off-suit card is played first, any card may be played. A trick is won by the highest trump or the highest card of the suit played first if no trump are played.

Reneging:
The three highest cards of trump (5, J, Ace of Hearts) may reneg when a lower trump card is played first. For example, if the 8 of trump is played first, a player with any of these three top trumps without lower cards of trump may throw off-suit instead of following suit. However, there is no reneging a higher card of trump. For example, if the trump Jack is played, the holder of the 5 may reneg, but not the holder of the Ace of Hearts.
